Flip/Flop February Day 1 - Gradient / Skittle

So for Jilltastic Nail Design's Flip/Flop February 28 Day Challenge the two options were Gradient  or Skittles.
I decided to do gradient, mostly because I struggle with it and thought it was a great way to improve.

I also decided as this is a February Challenge I would challenge myself to see if I could use pink in every mani I do, if not as the dominant color I want it to at least be in there somewhere.

I started this mani off by using Rainbow by Chins Glaze as a base color. I love this polish it is a pearlized white with a almost pinkish undertone to it.

I used Oh Cabana Boy by Orly and Shining Heart by Sinful Colors with a fan brush to create my gradient effect. I find for me a fan brush works much better than a makeup sponge in this application.

Once my gradient was in place and sufficiently dried I used two coats of Snowflakes by Color Club over the entire nail. Just because I love the effect created by mylar fleck style glitters.

Polishes used:
Base color: Rainbow by China Glaze
Pinks: Oh Cabana Boy by Orly and Shining Heart by Sinful Colors
Glitter: Snowflakes by Color Club

Naughty Nails Contest

This is my entry for that contest. It is based off the corset I wore for my wedding...  I hope you enjoy the mani as much as Mr. PGC enjoyed the original corset......   xoxo

So the thumb represents the bottom of the corset with the garters attached to a stocking Complete with pink butterfly hip tatto (which I do not have).
Pointer finger is just one one booby!
Middle finger is the top of the back of the corset.
Ring finger is front view with metal closures (this corset only has laces in the back).
Pinky is the wait area as seen in the back.

I made sure to get different shots of the thumb so it can be seen from the proper angle (not upside down or sideways).

Polishes Used:
Wet n Wild - Fergie: Glowstick and Going Platinum
L.A. Colors - Art Deco: Intense Pink
Orly - French Manicure: Sheer Beauty
Nail Art: Black

Monster Mash by Orly

Monster Mash by Orly

What can I say but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this polish!!!

For those of you who don't know my favorite color
is lime green, while this may not be lime green it is still the coolest
bright green glitter ever!!!

I was able to get full coverage in two coats, no base color
required to get this look!
I got so many compliments on this color.
I wore it for days, which never happens I didn't want to take it off!
